Meet Our Staff
Jennifer Donkle has been on staff at Trinity UMC since August 2022, and serves as our Programming Director. She grew up in Queens, New York and moved to the south in the mid-80’s, landing in Gastonia, NC. What a culture shock that was! Jennifer has lived in the south over half her life and moved to Myrtle Beach on January 1, 2016. She has a Bachelor of Arts, as well as a Masters of Arts in Practical Theology, both from Pfeiffer University. At the end of 2021 she married Vance Donkle, a born and bred Myrtle Beach native. Her daughter lives in Myrtle Beach, SC and works at Grand Strand Hospital. Jennifer and Vance have 2 cats: Mike and Moo, as well as one bird: an Australian Cockatoo named Sugar. Jennifer is an avid walker, loves to read, play volleyball, go shelling, spend time at the beach, cheer for the Clemson Tigers, and travel. She is excited to be in ministry at Trinity United Methodist Church and can’t wait to see all the great things we will do together to grow the kingdom of God. Dr. Andy Fowler has been the music director at Trinity for over 19 years! Throughout his life he has been surrounded by the music of a United Methodist church. At Trinity, Dr. Fowler directs a variety of ensembles, he also sings, plays the piano, and organ. Andy went to the University of South Carolina where he earned his Undergraduate degree in Piano Performance and Masters degree in Music Theory. He received his Ph.D in Music Theory from the University of Texas at Austin. Andy loves teaching, and is a lecturer in Music Theory and Composition at Coastal Carolina University. Business Administrator, Carolyn Causey has been on staff at Trinity since 2008. Prior to joining the staff, Carolyn was actively involved in many areas of service at Trinity. In her role at Trinity, Carolyn coordinates and supervises all office volunteers, and oversees all office activities and business transactions. Carolyn has a true servants heart and is involved in many other areas of service, as well. Carolyn is a loving mother of two daughters, a dog mom, a grandmother, and a great grandmother. Ralph Fields is a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He has been the Facilities Director at TUMC for over 5 years and loves every aspect of his job here. Ralph is a man of many talents, we are thankful he is here. In his free time, Ralph loves to metal detect and learn about history and historical artifacts.
